ALAN STEIN - Roberts Gallery Exhibition 2011 Roberts Gallery, Toronto.
Opening; October 22, 2011, 10:00am - 5:00pm Show continues to November 5, 2011

The Quiet Snow;

I began this series to illustrate 'The Quiet Snow' a movement from the 1958 'Scandinavian Suite #1', by Gene DiNovi, and then continued the series over the past winter after a trip out to the edge of the frozen Hangdog Reef. Georgian Bay was frozen over as far as I could see and there was only the white silence and the sound of wind.

Amsterdam Canals;

A series of canal scenes of houses and bridges in the area around the Prinsengracht Canal.

A selection of new pastels and oils of Georgian Bay and Italy.
